* my most days / evenings ritual is to spray hydrosol in one cupped hand and add a few drops of oil serum or balm and emulsify between my hands before applying to clean skin

A lot of hydrosol and floral waters on the market are the byproduct of essential oil where the essential oil is removed, making for a less potent product. When I distill rosewater and other hydrosols, the essential oil is left intact. You will feel the superior hydration of this rare type of artisan distillation.
